Student Night Returns to Drake Circus

The popular Student Night returns to Drake Circus on Tuesday 12th February, with great offers and activities.

Many stores and cafes in the centre are running special promotions for the event, which takes place between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.

Activities include a DJ and a free fun photo booth located near Pandora. As the event takes place on Shrove Tuesday, Café Curva will be selling pancakes and hosting a pancake tossing competition with spot prizes and prizes for the best ‘flippers’.

There will be a competition to win £200 to spend in Drake Circus as well as the opportunity to get to know Bank, a new fashion retail name for Plymouth due to open in Drake Circus in a few weeks’ time. Bank will be running exciting promotions throughout Student Night in anticipation of the opening of its new store.

Student Night is open to students in Plymouth. Those wishing to attend should pre-register via the Drake Circus website (www.drakecircus.com) by clicking News & Events and following the Student Night Registration link. The website also carries a full list of the offers and promotions available.

Rachel Stephens, marketing manager at Drake Circus, commented: “Each year Student Night gets bigger and better. At our last Student Night in October last year over 9,000 students attended and had a great time – we hope to match or beat that figure this time around.”
